This exchange is organised in collaboration with our friends at AEGEE-Tartu. In addition\, AEGEE-Poznan will be showing us their city and organizing fun social activities for us\, resulting in a triple exchange! DESCRIPTION:As you may know\, last Monday there was a massive blackout for several hours affecting all the Iberian peninsula\, causing havoc and completely disrupting the lives of millions of people. Especially alarming was the situation of grandmas in Porto\, who had to spend a whole evening without their favorite pastime: playing bingo. In solidarity with them\, the LAC is organizing an epic fundraiser Bingo Night!! \n“But I am not a grandma\, how am I supposed to endure a whole evening playing bingo??”\nDon’t worry youngster\, we’ve got you covered. We are not gonna be playing boring regular bingo\, but our own AEGEE version\, with different themes\, challenges and team strategies. \n🕜 Schedule: \n\n18:30: Dinner at the CR\n19:30: Bingo Time\n21:00: Board games and chill\n22:00: Hubble\n\n🪙 Price:\n10€ per person\, including dinner\, snacks and any possible prizes.\nBesides having lots of fun\, this activity will serve to raise funds! Since there is no direct fundraiser for the blackout (that we know of)\, we will donate all profits to United24\, supporting the war effort in Ukraine(*). \nSo\, bring your best grandma energy! \n(*) The Ukrainian government (that seem to have quite a bit of experience dealing with blackouts…) quickly offered to help Spain and Portugal\, evidently concerned about the well-being of all bingo-playing grandmas <3. So this donation will be our “thank you”.
