Discover Europe
What is AEGEE-Eindhoven?
AEGEE-Eindhoven is the European student association of Eindhoven. We are open to students from all different kinds of studies and nationalities. As an association we organize numerous parties, borrels and other local activities. However, since we are a European association we also organize activities and trips throughout the entire continent, the whole year long! This way you do not only make friends in Eindhoven, but you build a network of friends throughout the whole of Europe!
We travel.
As one of the largest student associations in Europe, AEGEE offers people the opportunity to visit other locals in over 160 cities all over the continent. We often travel to other locals where the members get to show us around. This way, you get the experience from a student’s perspective.
We discover.
There are many beautiful places of European hospitality. With AEGEE, we go above and beyond to really get a unique experience any place we go. From trying out traditional food, to immersing yourself in a local culture! AEGEE does it all.
We socialize.
In our antenna we organize a diversity of events. They range from social gatherings to workshops to fun and relaxing painting sessions.
Be part of a European Network
AEGEE is one of Europe’s biggest interdisciplinary student organisations, striving for a democratic, diverse and borderless Europe. As a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit organisation, AEGEE is open to students and young people from all faculties and disciplines. Founded in 1985 in Paris, today AEGEE has grown to a Network of 13 000 AEGEEans, present in 161 cities in 40 countries all over Europe. Through our activities, we empower students and young people in Europe to take an active role in society. We create a space for dialogue and learning opportunities as well as act as their representative towards decision-makers. AEGEE strengthens mutual understanding among young Europeans and brings Europe closer to young people.
Stories from our members
Hi, everyone! My name is Geri, and I am a computer science student at the TU/e. I've decided to join AEGEE-Eindhoven because of the memorable After Intro activities. Some of them included a barbecue with the other members, a multi-course European dinner, and a European night where different countries were presented by traditional snacks and drinks. Also, I've had a blast during the Brussels exchange in the beginning of my first year. This was the time when I got to know the other members, and I really enjoyed their company, since they were extremely friendly, open-minded and funny. I even became part of the Intro Committee which is responsible for the representation of AEGEE-Eindhoven during the TU/e Intro week. This way I will be able to show my passion about our association to the new students. If you're looking for making connections with some awesome people then AEGEE-Eindhoven is the right place for you!

Hey everyone! I'm Denis and I'm a Computer Science student at the TU/e. I joined AEGEE at the start of my master, which was last September. It was the first week of the academic year and I stumbled upon a Facebook event organized by AEGEE. Even though I knew nothing about AEGEE back then, I decided to subscribe to the event.
I was impressed by how friendly everyone I talked to was such that I ended that event by filling in the registration form.
I know that AEGEE events were limited because of the pandemic this past year (still waiting for a traveling abroad event), but nonetheless being a member was worth it!
If you're thinking of joining AEGEE-Eindhoven, then stop thinking and just become a member!
Hope to see you in our next event!
Denis
Hi everyone! I’m Edelweiss and am currently finishing the Master of Industrial Design at the TU/e. When I just moved to Eindhoven I didn’t know many people in the city and heard from friends back home that joining AEGEE-Eindhoven could be fun. I joined the intro and after-intro events and experienced a warm and cozy vibe within the association, with very open-minded and friendly people. I joined a few committees soon after and can really recommend this to get to know people even better. My most memorable events were the Lustrum gala of AEGEE-Nijmegen, attending and organizing the European dinner, and the Lustrum Exchange to Tartu! During this exchange we got to know our lovely twin-local better and their amazing culture. It is funny to see how other AEGEE locals can be completely different but still so connected.
If you’re thinking of joining AEGEE-Eindhoven but you’re not completely sure, sign up for one of our events and experience the atmosphere yourself! I promise you’ll not regret joining.😊
