What is AEGEE-Eindhoven?

AEGEE-Eindhoven is the European student association of Eindhoven. We are open to students from all different kinds of studies and nationalities. As an association we organize numerous parties, borrels and other local activities. However, since we are a European association we also organize activities and trips throughout the entire continent, whole year long! This way you do not only make friends in Eindhoven, but you build a network of friends throughout the whole of Europe!

Upcoming Events

Borrel every Wednesday evening at Hubble.

We travel.

As one of the largest student associations in Europe, AEGEE offers people the opportunity to visit other locals in over 160 cities all over the continent. We often travel to other locals where the members get to show us around. This way you get the experience from a students perspective.

Be part of a European Network

AEGEE is one of Europe’s biggest interdisciplinary student organisations, striving for a democratic, diverse and borderless Europe. As a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit organisation AEGEE is open to students and young people from all faculties and disciplines. Founded in 1985 in Paris, today AEGEE has grown to a Network of 13 000 AEGEEans, present in 161 cities in 40 countries all over Europe. Through our activities, we empower students and young people in Europe to take an active role in society. We create a space for dialogue and learning opportunities as well as act as their representative towards decision-makers. AEGEE strengthens mutual understanding among young Europeans and brings Europe closer to young people.

Stories from our members

I’ve been a member of AEGEE-Eindhoven for almost 2 years now and am also a member and the president of AEGEE-Tilburg 2020-2021 💙 I first became a member of AEGEE-Eindhoven in order to join their exchange to Copenhagen in October 2019, however even though I do not live or study in Eindhoven myself I decided to stick around anyways because of the amazing atmosphere and all of the friend I made over the past 2 years. 😊

Hey everyone! I'm Denis and I'm a Computer Science student at the TU/e. I joined AEGEE at the start of my master, which was last September. It was the first week of the academic year and I stumbled upon a Facebook event organized by AEGEE. Even though I knew nothing about AEGEE back then, I decided to subscribe to the event.
I was impressed by how friendly everyone I talked to was such that I ended that event by filling in the registration form.
I know that AEGEE events were limited because of the pandemic this past year (still waiting for a traveling abroad event), but nonetheless being a member was worth it!
If you're thinking of joining AEGEE-Eindhoven, then stop thinking and just become a member! 😋
Hope to see you in our next event!

I’m Lucas and I’ve been a member for 7 years already! I became a member right after the first year of my Computer Science degree, and my life has not been the same ever since. As a rather international person, I couldn’t have hoped for a better community to be in. Not only did I make countless like-minded people thanks to AEGEE, but it also has provided me with great friends all over Europe. I have had the luck of being able to live in several cities in different countries, without the struggle of finding friends in a foreign place. Wherever I went, I had a welcoming group of people to provide me with great company.
